Sarah Tolan-Mee
Bio
Sarah Tolan-Mee is a performing artist, somatic therapist, and creator of MacTalla.
​
Sarah guides creative artists including Pulitzer Prize winners, MacArthur Fellows, and PEN award winners in various therapeutic awareness, expressive, and integrative modalities. She has conducted workshops locally and internationally for arts institutions, high schools and universities, mental health facilities, Fortune 500 companies, and teenagers in detention.
Sarah incorporates a range of somatic modalities into individual and group sessions including mindfulness and visualization, Alexander Technique, somatic parts work, authentic movement, breath and voice work, Laban, and Michael Chekhov Technique.
She is a protege of Moni Yakim, has a BA from Brown University, an MFA from The Juilliard School, and holds numerous professional accreditations in somatic therapy. She is a registered Master Somatic Movement Therapist with The International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association.

She currently serves as the Integrative Specialist at Yellowbrick in Evanston, IL, conducting individual and group somatic therapy for emerging adults.
